Book Signings

Ponderosa State Park, McCall, Idaho – 7:30 P.M., August 28, 2010.
      Leon will be presenting an evening program on his latest book, The Forgotten Expedition (see “Home” and “Look-About Books” pages for description). Since this 1907 wildlife collecting expedition centered in the area now comprising Ponderosa State Park, come and enjoy some of the highlights of wildlife and area history encountered there 103 years ago. Leon will also read two or three brief excerpts from his book, which will be available for purchase and signing following the program.
NOTE: The speaking engagement with the Soutwest Idaho Birding Association (SIBA) has be posposed to a later date…watch for further information on this event!

    Chula Vista Nature Center , Chula Vista, California, November11, 2010. As a follow-up to the center’s “Hawktoberfest”, Leon (a.k.a. Doc Hawk) has been invited to share some of his adventures studying birds of prey. His books will be also available for a book signing as part of this event. More details will be posted as they become available.
